My day started off as my days usually do; trying to wake up from sleep in a daze, blurry eyed looking at my phone to check the time, and then I realised – today was the day of my graduation. Checking my phone I realised I had a message from a friend that I had asked the night before which graduation ceremony she was in. She was in mine, and it was the beginning of a great rekindled friendship. We got to walk together and graduate together. This woman is so strong and she amazes me with her resilience ❤️
Today will definitely go down in history as one of the best days of my life. I got to walk with fellow graduates as people cheered on, and I got to walk across the stage in front of hundreds of people to get my degree. I do have blisters on my feet however, but there are no regrets. I have become a stronger person during University and I would do it all over again in a heart beat.
Now I am on to greater things, with hopefully being able to do a Graduate Diploma in Primary school Teaching next year.
Congratulations graduates of 2017 – we did it!
